Dear Friends,

Are you a visionary leader with a proven track record of driving success? Do you have a passion for strategic decision-making and a commitment to making a positive impact? If so, we would like to invite you to consider joining our esteemed Board of Directors.

About Our Organization:

We are a dynamic and forward-thinking organization working towards finding housing for evicted LGBTQ+ youth, expanding access to free STD/HIV testing in the Lehigh Valley/Warren County, NJ, area, and being an educational resource for the community. Our commitment to excellence has propelled us faster than we could have imagined in less than a year in operation, and we are now seeking exceptional individuals to help guide our strategic direction as board members.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a board member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with fellow board members to develop and refine our long-term vision, mission, and strategic goals.

2. Governance: Provide oversight and ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.

3. Risk Management: Assess and mitigate potential risks and contribute to developing contingency plans.

4. Network and Advocacy: Leverage your industry knowledge and connections to open doors, build partnerships, and advocate for the organization.

Qualifications:

We seek candidates who bring diverse skills, experiences, and perspectives to our board. Ideal candidates will possess:

1. Proven Leadership: A track record of successful leadership and decision-making.

2. Strategic Insight: The ability to think critically and strategically with a forward-looking perspective.

3. Integrity: A solid commitment to ethical conduct and the highest standards of corporate governance.

4. Collaborative Spirit: The willingness to work effectively as a team and engage in constructive discussions.

5. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with LGBTQ+ issues, challenges, and opportunities.

6. Diversity and Inclusion: A dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion in the organization's leadership and operations.

7. Bonus Qualifications: Grant writing, fundraising, and lobbying experience is a bonus!
