About Our Organization: We are a dynamic and forward-thinking organization working towards finding housing for evicted LGBTQ+ youth, expanding access to free STD/HIV testing in the Lehigh Valley/Warren County, NJ, area, and being an educational resource for the community. Our commitment to excellence has propelled us faster than we could have imagined in less than a year in operation, and we are now seeking exceptional individuals to help guide our strategic direction as board members. Roles and Responsibilities: As a board member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization. Your responsibilities will include: 1. Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with fellow board members to develop and refine our long-term vision, mission, and strategic goals. 2. Governance: Provide oversight and ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards. 3. Risk Management: Assess and mitigate potential risks and contribute to developing contingency plans. 4. Network and Advocacy: Leverage your industry knowledge and connections to open doors, build partnerships, and advocate for the organization.
Qualifications: We seek candidates who bring diverse skills, experiences, and perspectives to our board. Ideal candidates will possess: 1. Bonus Qualifications: Grant writing, fundraising, and lobbying experience is a bonus!
